No. You only need basic English. We keep our language simple and do our best to explain things clearly. If you need extra support, let us know.
Why do you ask for my Permanent Residence (PR) number?
This information helps show that these programs are needed, so we can continue offering them in the future.

Make sure the program is a good fit for you
Understand who we are supporting and improve our programs
Help connect you with the right supports
Your information is used only for program purposes and is handled with care.
Would you offer me a job?

What we do is help you prepare for work and understand how the job system works in Canada. We connect you with employers, training programs, and employment supports, and help you take the next steps toward a job.
Do you offer wage subsidies?
No. Welcome Exchange does not provide wage subsidies.
Our role is to help open the conversation between participants and employers. Through our events, workshops, and networking opportunities, we connect people with employers, industry professionals, and training pathways that can lead to job opportunities in the skilled trades.
