Skilled Trades Workshops
Build confidence and hands-on experience in various trade careers while learning valuable new skills at our Trades Gateways workshops. Designed specifically for newcomer women, racialized persons, and 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals with little to no past experience in the skilled trades, these workshops provide a supportive environment to explore and grow in this field.
Cultural Exchange
In partnership with local First Nations and Métis-led organizations, Welcome Exchange offers newcomers cultural sharing workshops that introduce Indigenous cultures, traditions, and the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion, with a strong emphasis on the tenets of Truth and Reconciliation.
